Keeping a toy chest and rotating toys is a a great way to enrich your bird's environment. So don't discard a toy just because your pet is ignoring it. FREE stuff, like pen tops, bottle caps, empty boxes, etc. make GREAT "foot toys" for your pet bird.

| Happy Hut: "Cuddly" birds (i.e., lovebirds, conures, etc.) simply love those. My lovebird wouldn't be without it -- and it's so cute to see him "go to bed" in it every day; and peak out in the morning when it's time to tackle another day. It's his safe place; the place he can go to when he is ready to "snuggle up" for the night, or simply needs some protection from the cold. One word of caution -- most of the time your bird will start chewing (i.e., customizing its bed / toy) and strings may come off and hang down. Watch out for those and cut them off. Any string can strangle / hurt your bird.
