Colasisi refers to hanging-parrots of the Philippines, namely the polytypic Philippine Hanging-Parrot, (Loriculus philippensis) and the monotypic Camiguin Hanging-Parrot, (Loriculus camiguinensis) (a genus consisting of only one species).
Distribution / Range
Both species are endemic to the Philippines, the latter found only on the island of Camiguin.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
