Interesting Fact: This handsome jay is well known for its mimicry. It is able to perfectly mimic other bird species, a variety of mechanical sounds as well as human speech. It will even imitate the sound of a bird that it may be attacking or mimic the calls of predatory birds while they are being attacked by them, resulting in confusion.
