The Rufous-tailed Hawk (Buteo ventralis) is a bird of prey found in southern Argentina and Chile, including the entire region of Tierra del Fuego. It inhabits temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry and high-altitude shrubland, as well as temperate grassland.
